What In The World Are They Thinking?
From many international travels and experiences, Jacob has indulged himself within the pleasure of trying new foods whilst immersed in different cultures. Drawing inspiration from Michelin star chefs and street vendors, Kokkar Elska bridges the gap between the perspective of the two classes of dining. We've all experienced going out to a highly rated restaurant to only be disappointed at the end of service. But then to be in pure bliss eating amazing street food out of your hands on a sidewalk hunched over trying not to stain your clothes :) We understand that being able to provide an experience that combines the nature of the two experiences with multiple courses creates new memories with food and the people your surround yourself with! It is our pleasure to announce that we are not just a pop-up restaurant but a service that is now available for private dinner events.

I'm super happy to have you checking us out and possibly joining us. So much thought and work has gone into creating a night that we believe to be one you won't forget! From the menu to the location and the music, we explored every aspect that would blend together into a super interactive experience. I have cooked in many different settings and environments I felt like it should be brought to the Bay Area as well. Obviously different from any other pop up, Kokkar Elska is a new baby and I can't wait for ya'll to see it!

Hello everyone! I am Kyle and I have a unique passion for food. Day to day I currently serve as the GM of a Chick-fil-A in Fremont, CA. My passion for food typically doesn't get practiced in my normal job, but my passion for business definitely does! Outside of my work, as I strive to fulfill my passion for food, I hope that all of you will consider the food service that Jacob and I are willing to provide. We have put our efforts into this opportunity with hopes of bringing friends together through our passion for food, culture, and environment. We hope to provide all of our guests with a remarkable night full of music, food, and vibes!
